Mr. Garry was a native of El Paso, Texas. He loved and dreamed of becoming an artist. At an early age, his parents, teachers and friends recognized his ability to draw. He was too young to have had any formal training; therefore, others noted his ability as a “gift from God”. He won his first contest when he was in the sixth grade. The judges were astonished that an eleven year old could draw with such detail. Later in life he sought after his dream and began his career as an artist. He was recognized by the Texas Association of Minority Business and presented with the Distinction Award for his Abstract 3-Dimensional Art.  Mr. Stewart was in a tragic automobile accident and died May 4, 1999. Today his artwork lives on to spread the message of “love and peace”. “Like my ancestors, I’m on a spiritual mission when I paint”
